Your data stays on your phone.
Effective 27 October 2026 · applies to the Fitstrology iPhone app (version 1.0 and later) and this website.
The short version
- We don't collect any personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-up and no servers holding your information.
- Apple Health data is processed on your iPhone only. It is never uploaded, sold, shared or used for advertising.
- No analytics, no ads and no tracking in the app or on this website.
- Payments are handled by Apple. We never see your card or Apple Account details.
Apple Health
With your permission, Fitstrology reads sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, cardio fitness (VO₂max), activity, workouts, steps and body measurements from Apple Health, and saves the strength workouts you log back to Apple Health. It uses them only to calculate your forecast, Charge, Climb, Body Age, Body Sign and workout suggestions, on your device. You can change these permissions any time in the iPhone Settings app under Health → Data Access & Devices → Fitstrology.
Health data is not stored by Fitstrology outside Apple Health, except for the scores and summaries the app shows you, which are kept in the app's own storage on your phone.
What the app stores on your phone
Your goals, training preferences, logged workouts, exercise ratings, "How's my body" notes, daily forecasts, Body Age history and Body Sign. If you choose to add it, your birthday's day and month only (for your star sign). All of this lives in the app's private storage on your iPhone, protected by iOS data protection. It is not synced to any server.
To delete it: in the app, go to You → Delete my data. Deleting the app also removes it. Your Apple Health data is never touched by either.
Subscriptions
Fitstrology Plus is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells the app only whether a subscription is active. We receive standard, anonymised sales reports from Apple. Apple's privacy policy applies to your purchase.
Widgets and notifications
Widgets show a summary (headline, scores, signs) stored in a container shared only between the app and its widgets on your device. Morning notifications are scheduled on your phone; no push server is involved.
A future coach feature
We may later add an optional AI coach. If we do, this policy will be updated before it ships, the feature will be off until you turn it on, and it would send only a short summary (scores, goals, an age band and your star sign's name), never raw Health data and never your birthday.
This website
fitstrology.app is a static site hosted by Vercel. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. The Body Sign quiz runs entirely in your browser; your answers are not stored or sent. Like any web host, Vercel may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and time) for security.
Children
Fitstrology is not directed at children under 16.
